Enjoy
a luxury holiday in Cape Town, South Africa
Known
as the “Mother City,” Cape Town hugs the southern coast of South Africa.
Rightfully considered one of the most beautiful cities in the country,
Cape Town is framed by the iconic, picture-postcard Table Mountain, while
overlooking Table Bay and the notorious Robben Island, prison home of former
South African President Nelson Mandela. The coastline offers some of the
best beaches, while the nearby Cape winelands offer both beauty and the
best of South African wines.

City centre
life
In the
city of Cape Town itself, the V&A Waterfront is a popular destination,
offering a range of luxury hotels, excellent shopping and dining facilities
as well as exciting sailing and boating trips. The nearby De Waterkant,
with its cobbled streets and quaint homes, offers the Cape Quarter, an
area surrounded by restaurants and bars. In the city bowl, Gardens and
Tamboerskloof offer charming accommodations, surrounded by trees and often
spectacular views of Table Mountain and its surrounds.
Enjoy
life on the Atlantic Seaboard
Spreading
out from the city of Cape Town, the Atlantic Seaboard offers several beach
resorts, including the world-renowned Camps Bay - hugged by the
12 Apostles Mountains. Nestled on a stunning sandy beach, backed by swaying
palms, this small town has much to offer in the way of luxury accommodation,
as well as several excellent restaurants and many lively cafés and
bars.
Hout
Bay is a more traditional destination, with its harbour restaurants
offering the delicious catch of the day. There is also an excellent clean
and sandy beach and beautiful surrounding scenery. The World of Birds Wildlife
Sanctuary and Monkey Park is an interesting day out with a selection of
birds and wildlife on view. Between Hout Bay and Noordhoek, Chapman’s Peak
is a well known spot for hiking and cycling, with incredible views over
the Atlantic Sea and surrounding landscape.

Constantia
and its wine farms
Constantia,
in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, is an affluent place, located 15
kms from the city centre. The area is home to many spectacular homes, both
in the Constantia Valley and up on the hillside, with views across to False
Bay in the distance. One of Cape Town’s oldest townships, it grew around
Groot Constantia,
a notable wine farm producing excellent vintages. There are other wine
farms close by, including Steenberg, Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia. The area boasts a number of excellent hotels and self-catering accommodation.
