Your Award-Winning Guesthouse in AmsterdamHaving moved our guesthouse in June this year, Barangây is set in a typical Amsterdam Canal House, built in 18th century on the former coastline of Amsterdam.Our tropically decorated guesthouse retains its original facade and our first guests were welcomed to the original location in August 1999. Barangây is a Filipino word meaning small village or community. Each guest receives a warm welcome, the comfort of a uniquely decorated room and of course our world-famous breakfasts! |

AREA
With most tourist attractions literally around the corner and within walking distance, this is one of the best locations to explore Amsterdam and beyond. Barangây B&B is next to the famous Jordaan quarter where you can also find Anne Frank's house and markets on Saturday and Mondays. The Central station for all kind of public transportation is a leisurely 3-4 minute walk. It will only take you 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport by train, or car. |

| The
B&B is located in the canal area of the Amsterdam city centre and within
the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the best areas to explore
the city and beyond. Literally, most tourist attractions are all within
easy walking distance. The street boasts funky shops and trendy restaurants
and also connects two of the major canals - Keizersgracht and Herengracht.
Within a short walking distance, you will find the longest shopping street
of Amsterdam. The Bed and Breakfast is a 15-20-minute train ride from Schiphol
Airport to Amsterdam Central Station.
Each guest receives a warm welcome to a unique home-away-from-home, offering their very own tropical room. The non-smoking double or twin rooms are decorated in a quirky, tropical, southeast Asian style. Both rooms have large en-suite bathrooms with showers and bathtubs. Unique among B&B's, both have Japanese bidet toilets for complete hygiene. Rooms are on the first and second floor. Like all monumental houses in Amsterdam, there are steep narrow stairs, so the B&B is not suitable to those who are physically challenged. Please note there are two sweet black cats on your hosts' private floor. |

It is strongly recommended that get a personal travel insurance that will provide adequate cover during your stay and will also compensate you if you need to cancel or cannot meet your obligations regarding your booked accommodations.
Bookings are only accepted with valid credit/debit card information. The card will not be charged but is for authorization by the card company
When paying upon checking-in, CASH is king but the following cards are accepted : Visa, Master Card, American Express, PIN, Vpay, Maestro and some other Euro Bankcards. Please be aware if you pay with a card there is a 2% surcharge (except for Maestro and Vpay which has no surcharge).
