well as horse-riding opportunities in operational ranches.
Despite
being a long way from the Western frontier, Florida has always held
strong associations with the cowboy tradition, and is second only to
Texas as one of the biggest cattle ranching states in the USA. Almost one
fifth of the entire state of Florida is given over to the cattle ranching
business, with eighth-generation cowboys waking at the crack of dawn each
