How to Escape Bad
Weather
Travelling abroad
often has its pitfalls whether it’s forgetting your tooth brush or not enough
underwear, but one we rarely expect is bad weather. Clear blue skies and
soaring temperatures is always a given in the holidaymakers mind, however Im
sure more than a few of us have experienced grey days which have done their
best to ruin our summer retreats.

To be fair most
occurrences of bad weather are rare and when they do happen, its
rarely for a sustained amount of time. However, this applies mainly to the
typical summer months which run from June to September in Europe. There are
plenty still travelling to various destinations within the Canary Islands
as the tropical climate means that there is good weather all year long, but
not without its wet seasons.
It would serve anybody well to check the predicted weather of
a destination for the time period youre thinking of travelling. The
likes of Tenerife, which is the most popular of the Canary Islands,
welcomes many holidaymakers over the typical winter period who are looking
to enjoy some warmer weather compared to back home. Tenerife weather is
more or less consistent and tends to remain above 20°C during most days.
Perhaps what is just as attractive to tourists is the price of a trip to
the Canary Islands during a time which is considered out of season for most
people. If youre good at bartering a holiday package then you can see
hundreds of pounds in difference to the prices quoted for the same holiday
during summer months.

The
likes of Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura are other options aside
from Tenerife when it comes to winter tourism. No matter where
you choose from those options Ive just mentioned, one thing is for sure
and that is that whatever the weather, good or bad, you can be assured it
will be better than back home!
