Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region in north-eastern France. The various Tourist Attractions in Strasbourg have made this city one of the popular tourist destinations in France. 1. Cathedrale Notre-Dame:

The Cathedral of Notre-Dame is world renowned for its popularity among the visitors as it is one of the tallest cathedrals in the world with the height of 142 m. This cathedral was built between 1176 and 1439 on the location which was previously the site of a Roman temple. Although large parts of it are still in Romanesque architecture, it is widely considered to be among the finest examples of Gothic architecture.

2. La Petite France:

La Petite France or Little France is the most eye-catching area of the city of Strasbourg. This part is on the islands which are set in the Ilz River. This place is a photographer's delight as it is very scenic and beautiful. Several buildings here have half-timbered structure with charming balconies decorated with herbaceous plants. The Palais Rohan (Rohan Palace) is one of the most important buildings in the city of Strasbourg. According to common opinion among art historians, it not only represents the best part of local extravagant architecture but has also housed three of the most important museums in the city as: the Archaeological Museum (basement), the Museum of Decorative Arts (ground floor) and the Museum of Fine Arts (first and second floor).

4. Christmas Market (Christkindelsmarik):

Christmas Market (Christkindelsmarik) is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Strasbourg. Every year around 1.5 to 2 million tourists gather at Strasbourg from all over the world for the Christmas Market which is held from 24 Nov to 24 Dec. 

Christmas Market begins with an early morning prayer followed by a series of celebrations The whole town takes part in a month-long festivity that includes themed fairs, games, theatres and splendid Christmas feasts.
