Toulouse, France is the Mecca
for many different big sectors. Toulouse is the leader in the aerospace
industry for all of Europe! It is also the headquarters for Airbus and
GPS. But if you think that's the only things they're known for, then you
badly mistaken. This is because it's also home to the SPOT satellite
system as well CNES's Toulouse Space Centre. This is actually the largest
space agency in all of Europe. But like I said before there's simply so
much to do! So in order to help everyone, this article is going to
feature some of the greatest and best activities that you can partake
while adventuring around Toulouse, France.

Sights:
One of the most interesting
parts of anyone's trip to Toulouse, France is of course the sights.
Some of these buildings have been there for hundreds of years. It's all
ways quite impressive to walk down the streets and marvel at some of
these historic land marks. I suggest visiting Jardin des Plantes which
is one of the most stunning and magnificent parks I have ever seen. You
can tell that the caretakers are doing a phenomenal job keeping this
immaculate park up and running
Nature:
If
you're a nature lover, then Canal du Midi is a must-see. This beautiful
winding canal spans 240km across Southern France's breathtaking
countryside. Canal du Midi originated as a shortcut for traders. It was
originally supposed to be a shortcut through the Atlantic between the
Mediterranean. This was done in order to stay away from Spanish waters
and pirates which were both hostile. Well thank the heavens that they
constructed this canal. It is so beautiful, and wonderful in every
single imaginable way. What would be better than spending the afternoon
going down a winding canal studded with amazing looking plant life.

Sports:
If you're into sports, then Toulouse,
France will not disappoint. It is home to one of the better Rugby teams
as well. That's right, none other than Stade Toulousaine calls
Toulouse, France home. Well that's of course when they aren't playing
in the finals or even the Heineken Cup. Toulouse was also the home of
the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
Space:
Cite de
l'espace - Cite de l'espace is French for City of Space, which is just
like the name sounds. It is a theme park all centered on the conquest
of space. More than 2 million visitors have come here since being
opened in 1997. They also have a number of impressive exhibits. Such as
their planetarium, that gives some unique light shows that you won't
forget for a good time to come. Cite dl l'espace is also home to a
stunning Imax screen in their newest planetarium. So let me ask you a
quick question, who in their right mind wouldn't like to take their
family on an educational vacation. Some of the interactive exhibits are
a gigantic hit with younger children, especially if they already have a
deep love of space. You can even go inside control room for Ariane 5.
It's just a model of the original aircraft, but it's still impressive
just the same!
